How to play guitar
Firstly you need to know how to hold the guitar . You'll find the lesson here .
OK let's move on
firstly find a metronome. ok don't know what metronome is??? Alright , metronome that marks time & beat at a selected rate.
If you don't have metronome , you can download it here .
Ok now play the metronome. Set it in low tempo, around 48 bpm (beat per minute) is good for starting. Measure or count 8 beat with metronome, feel it from the heart and tap your feet .
Picking exercise:
Hold your pick properly. Then down stroke on the open 6th string
Second stroke is upstroke , play n count it with metronome, continue this through the hole sequence I mean 8 beat . Then go to the 5 th string. Play this in all open string.
Left Hand exercise :

Start the metronome in 48 bpm.
Put your first finger on first fret and down stroke it with your picking hand. Make sure there is no buzz sound for finger positioning with the left hand. It can happen for the beginner, so hold the guitar fret properly by pressing your thumb tightly. With the metronome tic press the second finger on second fret and up-stroke with it by your picking hand. Next go to third fret by your third finger and then the four. Play the fingering exercise called 1234 over and over again. Remember play it in slow tempo. Do it for at least 7 days. You should play 3hrs in a day.
